    • On the name Valerius, see 483. Diodorus has the cognomen Poplicola. Aemilius' cognomen Mamercus is preserved in Diod. and Chr. 354 on both 470 and 467. Dion. Hal. (9.51.4) calls the Consul's father Lucius but the Consul Tiberius (9.51.1, and 59.1). Livy has Titus both years, but Diod. has Titus in 470 and Tiberius in 467. (Broughton MRR I)
