Career

  • Consul 469 (Broughton MRR I) Expand
    • Caeliomontanus was more probably the cognomen in Fast. Cap. than Nomentanus as reported by Dion. Hal. (CIL 1(2), pp. 102-103; Degrassi 91). Diodorus has {Gr} for {Gr}; see RE s. v. "Minucius" no. 29. (Broughton MRR I)
    • Liv. 2.63.1; Diod. 11.70.1; Dion. Hal. 9.56.1; Chr. 354 (Caelimontiano et Prisco); Fast. Hyd. (Caelimontano et Prisco II); Chr. Pasc. ({Gr}); Cassiod.; Degrassi 91, 358f. Numicius campaigned against the Volscians, and Verginius against the Aequi (Liv. 2.63.5-7; Dion. Hal. 9.56.1-6). (Broughton MRR I)
    • Cos. 469. Münzer and Gundel both hold that the cognomen Tricostus was probably included in the Capitoline Fasti. There is no trace of it, although the nomenclature of the gens is much in favor of it. See Degrassi, Inscr. It. 13.1.91, 3581 (Broughton MRR III)
  • Triumvir Agro Dando 467 (Broughton MRR I) Expand
    • Assigned the land to the colonists at Antium (Liv. 3.1.6; Dion. Hal. 9.59.2). (Broughton MRR I)
  • Legatus (Lieutenant) 455 Aequian territory (Broughton MRR I) Expand
    • Served, presumably under Romilius, against the Aequi (Dion. Hal. 10.49.2). (Broughton MRR I)
