17 Cichorius suggests that this name should replace that of Tedetius in Joseph. AJ 14.219-220, and sees an indication in the tribe that the senator of 44 B. C. belonged to this family. But the name Tedetius is found in the second century (RE 5A. 106). (Broughton MRR II)
