  • 7 As the Marians continued to hold Africa after the death of Fabius Hadrianus and Carbo escaped there before going to Sicily, it is probable that Domitius Ahenobarbus was already in Africa in 82 before the lists of the proscribed were published. (Broughton MRR II)
