    • Sent to Cyprus by Cicero to attend to the litigation of the Roman citizens there (Cic. Att. 5.21.6; the praenomen Cn. in Att. 5.11.4 may be an error). (Broughton MRR II)
    • Prefect under Cicero in Cilicia in 51-50 (MRR 2.246, 254). He was very probably father of L. Volusius Saturninus, Cos. suff. 12, one of a family which, according to Tacitus (Ann. 3.30), had not risen beyond the praetorship. Hence he may have become a praetor.
