A Legate under Dolabella (see 43, Legates). (Broughton MRR II)
Leg., lieut. 44-43. A legatus who served with Dolabella and preceded him in Asia (Cic. Phil. 11.4). He was besieged along with Dolabella at Laodiceia of Syria and died there (App. BC 4.62, #; Dio 47.30.5, #). (RS, CP) In MRR 2.493, delete Octavius (34); in 2.331, keep the above, and insert him in 2.354.
