    • Prefects (or perhaps Legates) whom Caesar appointed in 45 or 44 to assign land to veterans, Plancus at least in the territory of Buthrotum in Epirus. Cicero wrote urging them, and especially Plancus, to whom the other two may have been subordinate, to spare the lands of the Buthrotians in accordance with an edict of the Consuls based on Caesar's acta (Cic. Att. 16.16A, B, and E, to Plancus, C, and F, to Capito, and D, to Cupiennius; cf. Att. 14.12.1, and 17.2, and 20.3; 15.2.2, and 15.1, and 20.3, and 29.3; 16.2.1, and 4.3; see Grant, From Imperium to Auctoritas 9-11). Münzer (RE) considers them a Triumvirate. (Broughton MRR II)
