    • Sent by Brutus and Cassius in late 43 or early in 42 to invite aid from the Parthians (Vell. 2.78.1; Flor. 2.19.4; Dio 48.24.5; cf. Liv. Per. 127; Ruf. Fest. Brev. 18.1), and after their defeat at Philippi remained and incited them to invade the eastern Roman provinces (see 40, Promagistrates, on Ventidius). (Broughton MRR II)
