Praetor of uncertain date but as addressee of the autobiography of M. Aemilius Scaurus should be dated to the late second or early first century (Plin. NH 33.21; Wiseman, NM 232, no. 183; Sumner, Orators 70). Perhaps identifiable with RE no. 4, but more probably his father. See MRR 2.76 and 81.
