Dolabella fought the Senones, destroyed combined forces of Gauls and Etruscans in Etruria, ravaged Senonian territory and celebrated a triumph (Dion. Hal. 19.12.2; Flor. 1.8.21; App. Samn. 6; Celt. 11; Dio fr. 38; Eutrop. 2.10; Oros. 3.22.12-13; see Degrassi, 545).
