    • Cos. 252. A milestone, discovered at Zaccharone in Sicily, on the road from Agrigentum to Panormus, with the inscription [C. Au]relius | [L. f.] Cotta | [C]onsol LVII, by A. di Vita (Kokalos 1, 1955, 10-21-AEpig. 1957, no. 172). Degrassi doubts so early a date, though he favors one not later than the second century and suggests that a later Cotta, perhaps L. Aurelius Cotta (98).
